Our Product Technology team has built a proprietary sports betting and iGaming platform from the ground up in less than 3 years. We continuously improve and develop data-informed features to enhance customer experience. We are looking for like-minded superstars to join the biggest name in sports betting and iGaming as we expand in the U.S. market. We have an immediate opening for a Java Engineer – iGaming!

This role is hybrid, requiring employees to be on-site 2-3 days per week, and candidates must be willing to travel for onboarding as needed.

Location: Jersey City, NJ

What You Will Do

• Contribute to and drive technical software development solutions through collaboration with team members to deliver market-leading products
• Consider non-functional requirements to deliver high-performance, fault-tolerant software solutions for our 24/7 iGaming business
• Integrate applications with required systems and services, providing clean and easy-to-use APIs
• Design and develop business logic and backend systems to support our iGaming operations
• Mentor and coach junior engineers in craft and behaviors
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical and non-technical teams in an agile environment

What You Will Need

• 3-5 years of experience developing end-user products using Java 21, Spring Boot, Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of microservice architecture and distributed systems
• Experience working in cloud environments, specifically AWS
• Knowledge of Kafka, DynamoDB, and Postgres is a plus
• Experience with OLTP systems is advantageous
• Proven experience in building and maintaining APIs
• Familiarity with Agile and SCRUM methodologies
